The total land area of the Khilkhet Housing Project is approximately 314.47856 bighas. The society has purchased and mutated 232.82778 bighas in its own name.
The layout includes 9.05469 bighas of khas land, 7.01636 bighas of Union Parishad and Court of Wards land, and 65.57972 bighas that still need exchange or purchase. Early action is needed to exchange and register the remaining land in the society's name.
The project is progressing across several areas, including plot registration, model mosque construction, internal roads and drainage, DESCO electricity infrastructure, water supply planning with Dhaka WASA, school establishment, lake excavation, and a proposed security wall with a July Memorial plaque.
